The LEGO Group releases new PAC-MAN promotional video online

The LEGO Group has released a short promotional video online after the announcement of new set 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade.

The video, which is just under a minute long, uses original music from PAC-MAN, and shows a family using the newly revealed set. There’s just enough colour and nostalgia value in there with the ’80s style outfit of the mum to keep it interesting without being way too over the top.

LEGO Icons set 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade is now confirmed to be priced at £229.99 / $269.99 / €269.99, and comes in with 2,651 pieces. As expected from a LEGO Icons set, there’s just one minifigure, with the main focus being on the actual machine. The arcade machine itself will be, at least to some extent, playable, and the back panel of the set can be removed to store a whole different scene, reminiscent of an actual mini arcade. 

With the tagline at the end of the promotional video being ‘Adults Welcome’, it’s clear that the LEGO Group is aware of the memories this set is likely to bring to many who grew up playing PAC-MAN. LEGO designer Sven Franic confirms this, saying that the LEGO Group “cannot wait to see the joy it brings to fans of all ages.”

The LEGO PAC-MAN set is launching for VIPs very soon on June 1, and it will be available for everyone on June 4.
