Magneto rumoured to be the main villain in Deadpool 3

The latest rumour to emerge regarding the upcoming Deadpool 3 suggests that Magneto may be the main villain in the film.

Despite the movie currently being on hold until the resolution of the current SAG-AFTRA strike, rumours and leaks continue to emerge regarding Marvel’s upcoming Deadpool 3. Ryan Reynolds recently took to Instagram to post a first picture of himself in full merc with a mouth costume, alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine sporting a classic yellow and blue outfit.

Now, more hints and teases are starting to appear regarding the movie, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that Jennifer Garner will be making a cameo as the assassin Elektra, a role she last played in 2003’s Daredevil alongside Ben Affleck.

In addition, SuperheroHype notes that a tweet from insider MyTimeToShine was posted shortly after the news of Garner reprising her comic book role, reporting that both Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will also be appearing in Deadpool 3. Pop culture website Modern Notoriety then tweeted a post stating that McKellen’s Magneto will be the main villain in the upcoming film, a role the actor hasn’t played since 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
