Three new LEGO City LEGO 2K Drive sets revealed
Three LEGO City sets based on the brand new video game LEGO 2K Drive are on the way this summer, offering brick-built versions of in-game vehicles.
The LEGO Builder app and LEGO Kids site have together debuted the first images of three more LEGO City sets coming later this year, each of which features ‘play it in LEGO 2K Drive’ branding on the box. 2K Games’ first AAA LEGO title arrived on consoles and PC in May, but this is the first sign of an official product tie-in (beyond a polybag given away with select versions of the game).
Reflecting the variety of racers in the game across seven different vehicles, these models cover street cars, off-road trucks and boats. Whether they’re somewhere already in the game or will debut virtually alongside these sets has yet to be confirmed, but one scenario could be that the sets will include codes to unlock the vehicles in LEGO 2K Drive.
Check out all three new sets below. Prices, piece counts and release dates are yet to be confirmed, but there’s a good chance these models will appear on LEGO.com proper in the next day or two, so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for updates.

60395 Combo Race Pack
The excitingly-titled 60395 Combo Race Pack includes all three types of LEGO 2K Drive vehicle in the one box, each in a different primary colour. This is LEGO 2K Drive at its purest, really, and the perfect entry point for bringing the game to life in bricks. And they look like pretty decent designs, which always helps.
60396 Modified Race Cars
With detachable bumpers, spoilers, propellers and spring-loaded shooters, the two colourful cars in 60396 Modified Race Cars seemingly bring LEGO 2K Drive’s power-ups to life. The extras appear to use the same connection points, too, so you should be able to chop and change them between vehicles.
60397 Monster Truck Race
Evoking the spirit of classic video game LEGO Stunt Rally, 60397 Monster Truck Race is maybe the most imaginative of all three sets, adding some genuine flair and personality to its racers: one’s a taco truck, one’s a pirate ship. This is the kind of zany concept we’re after from LEGO 2K Drive, and now in its corresponding sets, too.
These sets will join a bumper summer wave of LEGO City releases, including 13 new models that have just gone on sale today. Click here to check out the full roster of June 1 launches.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
