LEGO Star Wars 30654 X-wing Starfighter GWP review

Free with May the 4th LEGO Star Wars purchases of £35 / $40 / €40 is the ever-so-slightly-more-detailed 30654 X-wing Starfighter.

You may be forgiven for thinking that you already own this if you have built this month’s free X-wing model given away with the official LEGO Star Wars magazine, but you would be mistaken – 30654 X-wing Starfighter is a larger mini-build offering a little bit more detail across a bigger piece count.

30654 X-wing Starfighter is available from May 1 to 7 inclusive, or while stocks last, at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores, awarded as a free gift-with-purchase of LEGO Star Wars spends of £35 / $40 / €40 or more.

At that spend threshold and during the May the 4th shopping event, this gift-with-purchase is one that many of us will end up with, if not intentionally look to pick up.

Indeed, it’ll be the other promotional items available during the same period – 5007840 Return of the Jedi 40th Collectible and 40591 Death Star II – that will be more desirable, offering more unique appeal for LEGO Star Wars collectors.

As a starting point and a little extra, though, there’s little to complain about here with 30654 X-wing Starfighter. Just, there’s little to get super excited about either.

30654 X-wing Starfighter is available at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores for the May the 4th shopping event running May 1 to 7 inclusive, awarded with LEGO Star Wars purchases of £35 / $40 / €40 or more.

During this same period, LEGO Star Wars spends of £80 / $85 / €85 or more will also land 5007840 Return of the Jedi 40th Collectible, while spends of £130 / $150 / €150 or more will net you 40591 Death Star II, all while stocks last.
