First revealed by a Japanese LEGO catalogue and subsequently through an online retailer, three new sets are coming on August 1, followed by this year’s advent calendar on September 1. 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack
Price: £18.99 / $19.99 / €20.99 Pieces: 108 Minifigures: 4 Release date: August 1, 2023
Despite fears of a severe uplift in price for battle packs this summer (from a German catalogue doing the rounds last month), 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack is ‘only’ £18.99 / $19.99 / €20.99. That’s still a £1 / €1 increase on where we were just six months ago with 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, though.
75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter
Price: £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 Pieces: 253 Minifigures: 2 Release date: August 1, 2023
75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter occupies the same price point as last summer’s 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter, only with 29 fewer pieces and one fewer minifigure. Anyone who picked up the original version of this set in 2017 is going to find this a particularly tough sell.
75365 Yavin IV Rebel Base
Price: £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99 Pieces: 1,067 Minifigures: 12 Release date: August 1, 2023
Of all the prices attached to this summer’s LEGO Star Wars sets, this might be the hardest one to swallow: 75365 Yavin IV Rebel Base costs an eye-watering £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99. It’s a similar price-to-piece ratio to last summer’s 75323 The Justifier, albeit with a bunch more minifigures – but there just doesn’t seem to be much LEGO here for your money.
75366 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar
Price: £29.99 / $44.99 / €37.99 Pieces: 320 Minifigures: 6 Release date: September 1, 2023
This year’s seasonal set is the same price as last year’s in the UK and US, but 75366 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar costs an extra €3 in Europe. Why? Tricky to say. The minifigures may be enough of a sway, though, with a brand new Holiday Special Emperor Palpatine, unique Endor Leia and rare Omega all in the box.

Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
