LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca minifigure left blank-faced
A misprinted Chewbacca minifigure from LEGO Star Wars 75322 Hoth AT-ST has left him lacking some colour in his face.
A Reddit user, u/StrangeManFromSpace, has shared an image of the Chewbacca minifigure they received in what looks like LEGO Star Wars 75322 Hoth AT-ST. Instead of the Chewbacca Snow minifigure as standard, the body and head piece is completely brown, without any of the light brown, white, and grey detail that should usually be present.
You can clearly see the difference between the image in the instructions (what the piece should look like) and what the Redditor claimed to receive. The legs still have the special snow-tipped feet, to reflect the Wookiee’s frosty experience on Hoth.
The LEGO Group’s quality control is usually very strong, so it’s rare to see alleged misprints like this one. However, that does mean that similar unusual pieces can actually earn you a decent sum from secondhand markets in some cases. Plus, it’s easy to request replacement pieces directly from LEGO.com, as the original poster plans to do.
“I think I’ll give them a shout for the right headpiece,” StrangeManFromSpace added in a comment below. “I’ll still keep this one for myself for [its] small cool factor.”
